The Board of Directors of the Chapter shall be a President, a Vice President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, a Professional Development Officer, three regional Vice Presidents, a Planning Commissioner Representative, and the immediate past President.
President
The President presides at meetings of the Board of Directors and the membership, and provides leadership on the development of Chapter policies in coordination with the Board of Directors. The President also: a) prepares an annual budget for approval by the Board of Directors; b) recommends creation, appointment, and discharge all Chapter committees; c) represents the Chapter on the APA Chapter Presidents Council; and d) calls meetings and perform other duties required.

The Vice President: a) assists the President in the guidance and coordination of committee activities; b) assumes the duties of the President in the absence or incapacity of the President; c) coordinates the activities of the Regional Vice Presidents and report to the Board of Directors on their activities; and d) performs other duties as required.

Secretary/Treasurer
The Secretary: a) maintains an accurate list of the members of the Chapter; b) notifies members and the Board of Directors of meetings, prepares and reports minutes of Chapter and Board of Directors meetings; c) transmits to the Executive Director of APA a list of all Chapter officers (including their addresses and telephone numbers) within 30 days of their election; d) notifies the Executive Director of APA of the results of all Chapter voting, and, in so doing, specifies the quorum and the number voting for each candidate or “aye” and “nay” on each issue; e) transmits to the Executive Director of APA at least one copy of each publication of the Chapter; f) submits to the Executive Director of APA proposed Bylaws or Amendments as required by the Bylaws of APA; and g) performs such other duties as required.
The Treasurer: a) receives and disburses Chapter funds; b) collects Chapter dues and assessments not collected by the National Office; c) assists the President in preparing an annual budget for review by the Board of Directors; d) maintain accounts which shall be open to inspection by officers and subject to audit; e) prepares for each meeting of the membership and of the Board of Directors a financial report to include a current balance sheet and an income statement reflecting the preceding 12 months of Chapter operations; and f) performs such other duties as required.

Professional Development Officer
The Professional Development Officer: a) promotes professional development and continuing education; b) must be an AICP; promotes membership in AICP by oral/written communication with chapter membership at conferences, workshops, etc., and through chapter newsletters and other such media; c) provides assistance to all chapter members interested in AICP membership by providing all necessary information about qualifications, examination schedules, the AICP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, etc.; d) provides assistance to national AICP office staff when called upon to meet with, or otherwise communicate with, members interested in AICP membership, to determine if they meet eligibility requirements; e) plans and implements chapter programs to assist candidates for AICP membership in any ways possible, including exam preparation alternatives; f) is responsible for assuring chapter input to the accreditation review of planning programs within the chapter area.

Regional Vice Presidents
Each Regional Vice President: a) serves as a representative of the Chapter in the regional area; b) coordinates regional activities with those of the Chapter and the Association; and c) furthers the purposes of the Chapter within the appropriate region. Regional Vice Presidents must reside or be employed in the area they are representing.
